The IACP ( International Assocation of Culinary Professionals ) annual Conference was held this year in Dallas, Texas, from April 13 to April 16, 2005.

The Sorrento Cooking School has attended for the first time the event and it was a great success in termin of new contacts, new business opportunities and new people from " food world " met there.

22 - 26 September, 2004: Tokyo, Japan  

the Sorrento Cooking School will attend the next Jata & World Trade Fair in Tokyo, Japan, to promote its cooking courses and special packages. The school, by invitation of the Italian Tourist Board and of the Campania Region Tourist Board, will participate to the Gala Dinner which will take place in one of the most famous Italian Restaurant in Tokyo and where they have been invitated the major japans tour operators organizing tour to Italy and to the Sorrento Coast.

13-16 June,2004: Sorrento,Italy  

the Sorrento Cooking School has been chosen by the BBC Northern Ireland ( Irish TV channel ) for the registration of a TV programme called “ Getaways “ illustrating all the fascinating aspects of the Campania Region and particularly of the Sorrento Coast. The TV programme, which will be broadcasted on the Irish channel in January 2005, illustrates what to do in Sorrento, what are the major attractions and what are the culinary traditions of the Region. The two TV presenters, Emma Louise Johnston and Joe Lindsay , have attended a normal three hour hands-on cooking class preparing some of the typical Sorrento dishes, such as the home-made gnocchi with mozzarella and basil , fish , lemon delite and tiramisu as desserts .
